So, how does a hunter end up friends with the supernatural creatures?

By chance, mostly. When I first met Scott I didn't even know werewolves were a thing -- let alone that my family hunted them.

[werewolfing]

[he winces a little.]

That...must have been interesting.

To say the least. It got a little messy for a while. [Or a lot. ]

I can only imagine. From Isaac's stories, things seem...complicated, for you guys.

Yeah, nothing's ever simple in Beacon Hills.

Can't say I envy you there.

I don't think anyone would.

Not many people, anyway. There's definitely a guy here who would be pretty into it, but he's...special. I kinda value my ass.

The kind of special we need to be worried about or the just kind of strange kind?

Just weird, I think. Well, creepy. But he seemed more into the idea of watching bad shit going down than causing trouble.

[But there does seem to be an eclectic group of people here, to say the least.]

I'd say it is. Not that we really get to pick.

Well, if we were given choices I'm pretty sure none of us would be here to begin with.

That's for damn sure.

But since we are stuck here -- I guess we have to find ways to make the best of it.

Yep. That'll be easier when there's more...here here. The whole barren planet thing is kinda creepy.

Definitely. You never realize how much you rely on modern conveniences until you don't have them anymore.

[werewolfing]

That too. But we can't even make like cavemen. Nothing to hunt or gather. Just a lotta nothin'.

Which is probably on purpose to encourage us to worship to earn things.

[werewolfing]

That's giving somebody a lot of credit. Kill a world to bring people there to sex it back to life?

It's possible -- it's no more insane then any other explanation you could come up with of this place.

True. I guess I just figure most people are lazy.

Too lazy to orchestrate something like that?
