[peter's seen allison around. it's pretty inevitable, she lives literally right next door. he's heard about her from isaac, the hearts in the other werewolf's eyes subtly visible.
what he hasn't done, though, is introduce himself. peter's comfortable enough with isaac, but there's nothing about his current state of mind that makes him want to socialize very much. all the same, they are neighbors, and he's pretty sure she's seen him around as much as he's seen her.
one day while lydia and isaac are both gone, peter leans against their doorway, knocking lightly on the jamb. he's a scruffy thing, a squidge taller than scott but not nearly as tall as isaac, barefoot and tangle-haired, his arms folded across his chest but his posture utterly unthreatening.]
[Allison's noticed Peter around a few times now, knowing he's the one living with Isaac. She doesn't know him though -- she's been too busy on focusing on other things in the adjustment process.
Lydia's gone out for a while and she's not expecting any visitors so it surprises her when she hears a knock on the door. Carefully, she approaches the door and opens it.]
right. okay so this is going to be awkward but im honestly not sure where we are or what were technically doing so if this is tmi then let me know or if youre upset about it then let me know that too and ill either stop telling you or stop entirely but uh
BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING i mean i had a good couple of reasons and im still trying to figure stuff out but we never really said anything and this is sort of sex island and i wanted to like with you i mean i didnt want to just do things with you because we had to like i dont want it to be an obligation i mean not like peter was an obligation but i was kind of getting the no-sex-curse that the gods give you or whatever and peters like i dont know hes blessed with prowess this month or something and it just sort of happened and i dont really regret it but if youre angry then i do i just dont know where we are or if were together or if this was supposed to be like a one person thing or like if it was more see a need fill a need or if you wanna be like cool with one another and then also be cool with other people but either way thats
[Allison reads over the information, trying to digest it the best she can. She's heard enough from other people to know this was bound to happen sooner or later -- it seems wrong somehow to hold it against him.
Still, it takes her a few minutes before she responds.]
the truth is, I'm not sure what we're doing exactly either. I mean -- I liked what we did. And I'd like to continue it but I know to expect things like this not to happen here is probably naive
so if we want to do this -- I think it's probably safe to assume we might be involved with other people as well. just i think it'd be good to be honest about who else we sleep with. that'd be the important part.
[Lydia arrives and it's like déjà vu. The letter, the caves, the path outside. The only change is that it's pouring rain. She wonders how long it's been, how quickly a few days back home can translate to a different world. Especially when those few days for her changed so much. Lydia moves through the rain and ends up back near where Allison's tent had been previously.]
[Most of the time Allison goes out around when new arrival days happen to see if Lydia's come back -- but the rain stops her this time. Still when she hears her best friend outside she gets up and pulls back the fur she had been using as a makeshift cover/door and yanks her friend in.
Look at me playing along, think that earns me my ball back? All this grandstanding doesn't look good on you. It's, frankly, embarrassing. So, retract your claws and learn to play nicer with others. I have.

Hi. [A beat.] Peter, right?

[he smiles a little at that, somewhere between amused and shy.]
I figured maybe it was time to introduce myself, since we more or less share a wall.
