[Lydia arrives and it's like déjà vu. The letter, the caves, the path outside. The only change is that it's pouring rain. She wonders how long it's been, how quickly a few days back home can translate to a different world. Especially when those few days for her changed so much. Lydia moves through the rain and ends up back near where Allison's tent had been previously.]

Allison?

[Most of the time Allison goes out around when new arrival days happen to see if Lydia's come back -- but the rain stops her this time. Still when she hears her best friend outside she gets up and pulls back the fur she had been using as a makeshift cover/door and yanks her friend in.

Hugging is go.]

Lydia.

[sucking]

[The moment she sees her friend, she's not sure she can hold it together. The hug helps her for a moment. It makes it real, it makes Allison alive and safe and nowhere near Beacon Hills. Her hand presses to the back of her best friend's head, holding onto her as she hugs her.]

I'm so glad you're still here.

[Allison will hug Lydia as absolutely long as necessary, okay?]

You remember being here?

[sucking]

[Lydia smiles, nodding as a small nervous laugh escapes her.] Yes, I remember. You don't have to explain the whole sex for progress thing to me.

[She smiles a little at that.] Well, that's a relief.

[sucking]

[Lydia returns the smile.] I figured that would be.

It's never a fun conversation to have with anyone. [Pause and then.]

I have a mattress now, at least. So we can sleep more comfortably.

[sucking]

[Lydia looks at Allison with a glance of approval.]

Look at you, moving up in the world. Anything I should know about that earned you said mattress?

[Allison smirks a little at that, tilting her head.]

I didn't think you'd want to hear the details about my sex life with Isaac.

[sucking]

[Lydia's eyes light up a bit, because while she knew there had been something going on, they'd both been a bit busy to actually discuss those things.]

Well, apparently those are all the details I needed.

[Well they've been busy here too -- just...sometimes it was that kind of busy.]

It made the most sense -- especially in the beginning when we didn't know anybody else.

[Why yes, she did take Isaac's v-card.]

I'm not saying that it wasn't a logical choice, Allison. He's definitely turned a few heads with his newly found confidence and leather jackets.

It's true. And it was at least nice to know it was with someone I could trust.

[sucking]

[Lydia smiles, glad for Allison too. She wants her to have these things, to be at least some form of happy somewhere.]

Good, I'm glad that's how it worked out.

Me too. [And not just for herself, she knew it was important for Isaac to have his first time with someone he trusts.]

It would of been harder without such an easy solution around

[Lydia nods and moves to sit down on the bed.]

We'll have each other for support now, too. [She gives her a reassuring glance.] I'm not making any plans to leave anytime soon.

Good. [Allison lets out a small smile.]

I've missed you.

[sucking]

[She wants to say that she's missed her too, but in reality she's supposed to have just seen her.]

Well, I'm here now. [Then there's more hugging and eventual sleeping.]
